Is there any way I can pass these off as wedding shoes? I mean, it’s a little coincidental that they happen to match our wedding colors (yellow and grey), they’re marni, they’re my size AND they’re $262!! Not to mention I couldn’t find them on the site earlier today and almost cried at my desk for missing out on them (this post was going to be called . the pair that got away .) and now they’re back!

PROS:
1. If I wasn’t saving for the wedding, I would’ve gotten them in a second.
2. They’re not “wedding” shoes and I’ll wear them before and after the wedding.
3. They’re Marni
4. They look comfortable
5. Any pair of shoes I get will probably cost about that much, and they won’t be Marnis

CONS:
1. A bit casual?

Peter and I went to meet our first potential wedding photographer this weekend. Cooper Carras is based in Northern California and takes some of the best wedding photos I’ve ever seen. I’ve been going to his website every day just to look at the same pictures over and over again. I’m not sure how, but he makes seats at the Zurich airport look alive and beautiful (good news for us). I’ve been going to his site so often I’ve memorized one too many details about the weddings he’s shot and I think I might’ve acted a bit like a scary stalker at our first meeting.

Anyway, I wanted to share some of my favorite Cooper Carras pictures just because they’re so darn good.
